The largest oyster in the world is at Domaine Tarbouriech

It reproduces identically the most beautiful oyster selected by Romain Tarbouriech for its shape, colour and undulations (the original is on display at the bar des nacres).
This pink marble “Kuros Fleur de Pêcher” (primary area, Devonian stage, 380 million years old) comes from Saint Pons de Thomières, a small village in the Hérault hinterland and cradle of the Tarbouriech family.
The wooden base refers to the mangrove bars that were used as a growing medium for oysters in the Thau basin in the last century.
Its proportions and weight certainly make it the largest oyster in the world
